Rules & Regulations

 

 

1.

 

Admission to the Business & IT School is by an entrance examination. Dates for the examinations are published in newspapers and on our web page at the end of each academic year.

 

2.

Once admitted, parents/guardians are required to pay a deposit of 250,000 (GHC25) cedis before the beginning of the term. This deposit ensures that a place is reserved for the student.

 

3.

All fees are paid terminally in advance and must be paid at the start of the term.

 

4.

Parents and/or guardians are expected to pay a full term's fee irrespective of date of admission or re-admission.

 

5.

Fees, once paid, are not refundable in any circumstances. Exemption can be granted where the Management finds fit.

 

6.

Three (3) months' notice is required on withdrawal. A term's fee will be charged in lieu of notice. The Management of the Academy shall, at its discretion, make exemption to this rule where deemed necessary.

 

7.

Students of the Academy are expected to wear prescribed uniforms while in school.The staff of the Academy has the right to turn away a student who is not in a school uniform.

 

8.

The Academy will charge a student for the cost of repairing or replacing any property should it be determined that damage caused was intentional.

 

9.

The Management of the Academy reserves the right to dismiss a student whose behaviour is considered unacceptable at a place of learning. In case of dismissal,fees paid shall not be refunded. However, no such dismissal shall take place without first consulting with the affected student's parent/guardian.

 

10.

Students are required to carry their student identity cards at all times while at school.The staff may check ID cards before or during IT-lessons.

 

11.

The Management of the Academy reserves the right to change the fees, academic calendar and/or any other information contained in the Academy's web pages, prospectus or any other such document at any time without the prior consent of students or parents/guardians.

 

 

 

Academic Calendar

 

The academic year consists of three (3) terms from August to June and is divided as follows:

 

1st Term 20th Aug to 20th Dec

Mid-term 25th to 27th Oktober

 

 

2nd Term 5th Jan to 27th March

Mid-term 13th to 16th February

 

 

3rd Term 23rd April to 3oth June

Mid-term 5th to 7th May
