InterEuro Academy

Nursery & Preparatory School

Rules & Regulations

1.

Admission to the Nursery & Preparatory school is by an application made to the Academy on our admission form.

2.

Once admitted, parents/guardians are required to pay a deposit of 100,000 cedis (GHC10) before the beginning of the term. This deposit ensures that a place is reserved for the pupil.

3.

All fees are paid terminally in advance and must be paid at the start of the term.

4.

Parents and/or guardians are expected to pay a full term's fee irrespective of date of admission or re-admission.

5.

Three (3) months' notice is required on withdrawal. A term's fee will be charged in lieu of notice. The Management of the Academy shall, at its discretion, make an exemption to this rule where deemed necessary.

6.

Fees, once paid, are not refundable in any circumstances. Exemption can be granted where the Management finds fit.

7.

Pupils of the Academy are expected to wear prescribed uniforms while in school. The staff of the Academy have the right to turn away a pupil who is not in his/her school uniform.

8.

The Academy will charge a pupil for the cost of repairing or replacing any property should it be determined that damage caused was intentional.

9.

The Management of the Academy reserves the right to dismiss a pupil whose behaviour is considered unacceptable in a place of learning. In case of dismissal, fees paid shall not be refunded. However, no such dismissals shall take place without first consulting with the pupil's parent or guardian.

10.

Pupils are required to carry their school identity cards at all times while at school. The staff may check ID cards before or during IT-lessons.

11.

The Management of the Academy reserves the right to change the fees, academic calendar and/or any other information contained in the Academy's web page, prospectus or any other such document at any time without the prior consent of pupils and/or parents/guardians.
